Congratulations to Hampton Hotard for his new position as the Biscayne Bay Commission Coordinator in Miami, Florida!


Hampton, a 2021 UGA Geology graduate, has accepted a position with the Biscayne Bay Commission as Coordinator for the Department of Environmental Protection in Miami. The position serves as a neutral facilitator for the Biscayne Bay Commission, managing meetings and supporting the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve through communication and outreach, data input, and scientific assistance.

In the picture, Hampton is working on a great hammerhead shark during his Master’s of Professional Science research at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science (Hampton is in the center).
