Oluwaseun Adeyemi

Geology Graduate Student

Oluwaseun "Olu" Adeyemi presents results from his study of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and their association with clay sized minerals at a Joint SE/NE meeting of the Geological Society of America in Reston, VA.  PFAS are also known as ‘forever chemicals’ due to their chemical stability related to strong carbon-to-fluorine bonds. His collaboration with the U.S. EPA marks new directions in diversity and inclusion between UGA Geology and national agencies.
