GEMS Critical Materials Workshop
September 12-13, 2024 | Georgia Tech Campus

Please join us for the Fall 2024 Georgia Partnerships for essential Minerals Workshop to be held on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta, Georgia.  This symposium is hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology, Geogia State University, the University of Georgia, and the Georgia Mining Association.

Together with the GMA and the three Georgia R1 research universities, participants will converge to:

  • Develop a state and regional ecosystem demonstrating a critical mineral supply chain from resources to solutions to end users
  • Establish a regional critical mineral consortium to facilitate resource exploration, characterization, processing, and utilization
  • Focus on workforce training for this emerging industry
  • Create official industry-university collaborations that included internships, field trips, curricular training, R&D collaboration, and stakeholder liaisons

Symposium space is limited, so please secure your attendance early by filling out the registration below. Registrations must be received by Wednesday, September 4, or until slots are filled.  Please be aware all sessions are in person. Registrants will receive a separate email prior to the event with session schedules and logistical information.
