Colloquium

Dr. Erika Rader, a volcanologist, petrologist, and geochemist currently at Drexel University, will be visiting us to present her research on lava flow analogue models and field observations from the Deccan Traps in India. She has returned from field work in India just last week and we may get to see some of her findings from there. Her talk is titled: ”Imitating Giant Lava Flows: Flood Basalt Emplacement in the Deccan Traps, India."  Please also check out her fascinating homepage: http://erikarader.weebly.com/.
